Time Change

The image shows a small figurine of a person in a white coat holding a briefcase, standing in front of a large clock. The clock is significantly larger than the figurine, creating a surreal and exaggerated perspective. The background is blue, and the scene is well-lit, casting shadows on the ground.

When I travel I rarely get a good night sleep and the daylight savings time compounded the issue. My plan was to go to bed at around 10:30 PM and wake up at 5:30 AM to go to the gym. However, 10:30 would have been 8:30 back home and actually 7:30 due to the time change. So I ended up going to bed at around midnight (there is always something interesting to read on internet). No problem I thought, change of plan, I would sleep more and go to the gym in the evening. There was a problem in fact, I woke up very early, and after failing to fall asleep again I decided to have a look at the watch (I dread checking the time and see it is only 2 AM or 3AM). It was 5 AM and I made the decision to get up and go to the gym. Adapt and act! However the hotel shuttle wasn’t there and I was told it would be available only after some 20 min. (first time this has happened to me, usually it is there or I don’t wait more than 10 min.), I didn’t feel like calling the cab (the hotel doesn’t have a proper gym) so went back to my room and this is a post (and the next one) of me not being able to sleep.
