‘Fish Channel’

Yes, there is such a TV channel that shows … an aquarium – and nothing else as far as I watched – round the clock.  I think it is a simple and brilliant  idea. They say watching fish in aquarium can be a way of reducing stress (perhaps watching an aquarium on TV does not have the same effect but still). The photos below are of the TV set at a London Radisson hotel: The image shows a television screen displaying a menu for selecting TV channels. The menu options listed are:

1. BBC ONE
2. BBC TWO
3. ITV
4. Channel 4
5. five
6. INFO CHANNEL
7. Visit London TV
8. Fish Channel
9. more options

The screen also has a small preview image of a TV show or movie, and the bottom right corner displays the logo for "Radisson Edwardian Hotels." The top left corner has options for "MAIN MENU" and "BACK."

The image shows a vibrant and colorful coral reef displayed on a screen. The reef is filled with various types of corals in different shapes and colors, including red, yellow, green, and purple. The background is a deep blue, giving the impression of an underwater scene.

The Vancouver airport has an impressive 114,000-litre aquarium in the International Terminal so I suggested they install a webcam. The response was very quick, let’s see whether they will do it.

Thank you for contacting the Vancouver International Airport Authority.

We appreciate that you have taken the time to share your suggestion regarding the aquarium webcam TV channel with us. I have taken the opportunity to share your suggestion with the appropriate department for review and consideration

Sincerely,
