Star Alliance 15th Anniversary Game, retail value of 1st prize $375,000 – closes June 14

From ‘Terms and Conditions’:

“First Prize – 15 x Business Class return tickets + 5-night stay at a luxury hotel for 15 people

The First Prize consists of fifteen (15) Business Class Return Tickets for one Winner and 14 friends to be named by the Winner to a celebration/festival of the Winner’s choice selected from the list set forth below, together with the included activities, transport and tours related to that celebration/festival as listed below. The Winner and his or her 14 friends need to travel together at the same time to the same destination, on the same plane. Permissible routings will be based on the destination chosen by the Winner and might, depending on the destination chosen, not necessarily consist of direct flights only. Routings and routes will be determined by the Star Alliance travel manager at the time of the travel request. No stopovers en-route are allowed. Applicable flight fees, taxes and surcharges will be included as part of the First Prize.

This First Prize also includes a 5-night stay in a hotel at the destination chosen by the Winner for each of the Winner and his or her 14 friends, based on 2 people sharing a room (maximum of 8 rooms in total) – the hotel will be selected by the Promoter.

Hotel accommodation must be redeemed during the same time period as the flights.

The approximate current recommended retail value of this First Prize is in the range of 300,000 EUR.”

$375,000 for the first prize, this is what I call a prize worth my time. 

However I would need to bring 14 friends and I do not think I have so many, so I will randomly choose the friends from the followers of this blog and the other blog from the ’About’ section. There should be some reward for putting up with my posts. However the condition is that if you win, my wife and I will be among your friends :).

I have chosen as a destination: “Chingay Parade, Singapore: Prize to be taken over the Chingay Parade in February 2013 and includes Return private airport transfers in Singapore, 5 nights’ luxury hotel accommodation at Studio M Hotel, Singapore (4*) and x 15 Tickets to the Chingay Parade 2013 and guide to the celebrations.”

I don’t really know what this parade is but it is far enough and I have never been to Singapore.
