“Better than Coffee”, I don’t think so!
While travelling I am most of the time tired (not that I am more energetic if I am at home). I suppose it has to do with the time zone difference and changing the bed. So I am always looking for things that promise more energy, and some time ago I bought a product ‘Better Than Coffee’ that had a very compelling story.
“When I was hiking through the Amazon Rainforest last year, I had a first-hand experience with a remarkable healing herb.
Sacred to the nearby Guarani tribe, it was literally a gift from the gods. According to tribal folklore, the Indians of the Amazon River Basin have been using it to prevent fatigue and increase physical endurance since before recorded history.
I took it in the early morning before we hit the trail. After 18 hours through the jungles of Peru my mind was crystal clear and I had no feeling of fatigue. Looking back, I had covered 15 miles of rugged terrain without feeling tired or worn out.
I realized that combining this ancient herb with cutting-edge brain nutrients would create a powerful new formula. Not only would it give you more energy without crashing, it would help your memory, too.*”
“You’ll soon feel rejuvenated and ready to go for the rest of the day. It’s the natural way to free yourself from the crash-and-burn cycle. But the thing is, you might find that you don’t have as much use for coffee once you’ve tried Better Than Coffee. Many of my friends and patients tell me that they drink less of the black stuff now that they can get the same long-lasting energy in my formula.”
“Just think of everything you’ll be able to do when your mind has all the supercharged fuel it needs. You’ll be thinking on your feet at lightning-fast speed. You’ll tackle your day with a clear head, at the top of your game. And that feeling lasts all day.”
However, ‘Better Than Coffee’ didn’t make any difference for me. The coffee gives me some energy (or at least this is what I want to think as I am not a regular coffee drinker) but this product didn’t live up to my expectations. But the company lived up to their promise “If for any reason you don’t feel as energized as I described to you…or if it doesn’t live up to your expectations for any reason…simply contact my office. You’ll get a full, no-hassle refund of the product price. Even if the jar is empty.”
You could read more information about this product here.
I mean without this guarantee I would not have ordered the product in the first place. And I got my money back, I did not even have to send the product back (the jar is still not empty as I cannot bring myself to finishing it).
I am relieved this product is not “better than coffee”, my investment in Starbucks (Why I bought Starbucks) is safe for the moment :). Also, the coffee is linked to longer life according to study published in The New England Journal of Medicine, so coffee is good!
