Beside the Air Canada contest there was a Starbucks contest as well on my Facebook page. Don’t know how it got there. Did I ever click on ‘Like’ Starbucks? I must have, I own Starbucks shares – even if I rarely drink their coffee – so I have to ‘like’ them.

The contest is ‘Name Your Blend, Canada’ and it is the name for Blonde Roast. I am thinking of participating with ‘Blonde and Smart’ or ‘Smart Blonde’.The image is an advertisement for a Starbucks contest called "Name Your Blend, Canada." The contest invites participants to name a Starbucks Blonde Roast blend. The text explains that Canadians have embraced the mellow, easy-drinking Blonde Roast, and the contest offers a chance to win a trip anywhere in Canada to meet a friend for coffee. The winning name will be displayed on every pack of Canada's favorite Blonde Roast. There is a checkbox to accept the official rules and a button to submit a name via Facebook, with the incentive of receiving a free tall Blonde Roast. The image also shows a bag of Starbucks Blonde Roast coffee beans and a cup of coffee with the Starbucks logo. Below the main content, there are recent submissions for the contest, including names like "Blonde Blue Eye," "Blonde Simply Smooth," and "Blonde Highlight." https://twitter.com/curbexcitement

  1. The AC simulator prize would be great fun, but sadly I don’t reside in Canada. There was a day when avGeeks could often buy simulator time at very reasonable prices. Since 9/11 it has all but vanished.
