Free code to download FlighTrack Pro

One of my colleagues gave me the code that he’d got from a Starbucks. I realized that it would be a ‘waste’ on me as I have not been flying at all this year an no plans to fly any soon.  From the back of the card ‘Valid only on Canadian iTunes Store. Requires iTunes account.’ (my bold).  The app costs $9.99.

This contest is only for frequent travelers (at least once a month) as they could make best use of this app. Leave a comment with your first name and initial of your last  name and how many flights you have had in 2013. Of course, I have no means to check this but if you leave a comment it means you are a frequent traveler (according to my definition) and you are ‘entitled’ to participate in this contest.

I will choose the winner randomly and the only condition for the winner is to write some form of a review after s/he has used it for some time: what you liked, what you didn’t, was it useful, would you have paid for it, and any other things s/he can think about.

flight track pro

UPDATE – the review:

“My opinion is that unless there are some powerful features I’ve yet to discover, this app wouldn’t be worth the $9.99 they sell it for.

Try FlightView, it’s free and the one thing it does that this other app doesn’t do us tell you the flight # of the inbound flight you are waiting for . . . and then you can go and track the inbound flight with a touch of a button. Good stuff.
For something to be called ‘Pro’, cost $9.99, FlightView does the same and more for free.”
