30 eUpgrades for Air Canada giveaway

I said 30 but there could be 34 or 40 or even 50 (but no promises) in case the winner requires more to upgrade for a long flight especially as I have no travel plans so rather than have the eUpgrades expire I would give them away.

The eUpgrades expire on 28 Feb, 2014 so the travel on an upgraded flight must be completed before the expiration date.

Also, the ticket must be upgradeable but this is up to everyone to check before entering the contest; why do all the following work for nothing.

I will randomly choose the winner. In order to enter the contest the participant has to:

1. Subscribe to my blog;

2. Add images to 15 articles from kwikpedia.org as per How to add an image and put the links to the articles in the comments.

The winner will have to add 50 more images and 30 images per upgrade cleared within 30 days of the flight.

  1. @Luc-Etienne Gagnon, You would have to participate for each member of the family if you want to upgrade them, just to be fair to the other participants to the giveaway.

  2. According to AC website we would required 6 upgrades each per one way flight.

If you still have at least 24 upgrade still available, I would gladly put more time to link more pictures! That would at least give us one leg in Business class 😉

It’s the first time my kids will be flying. Most as well do it in style!!

By the way, any way I could skip clicking all those cat faces after each submission to speed up the process?

  3. @Luc-Etienne Gagnon, I think if you create an account and log in, you will not see the cat faces again :). They are to prevent the spam.
It is good you checked your flight is upgradeable, otherwise it would have been too much work for nothing :).

I have 70 eUpgrades available and no plans yet to travel, so very unlikely I will use any of them myself.

  4. I already created an account and it’s still asking me to pick the cat faces…

Oh well, what would I go through for my kids!

    45 more links coming soon!

  5. @Luc-Etienne Gagnon, “I will randomly choose the winner. In order to enter the contest the participant has to: 1) …”
Your wife would have to subscribe as well, in order to get 2 + 2 entries for the contest; tip, very easy to unsubscribe after 🙂

  6. @Karole-Anne, no you are not subscribed, you are not in the list of the blog followers, don’t want to disqualify you for a technicality, because they say it is the intention that counts :), perhaps you have not confirmed the subscribe e-mail

    Details here:

30 eUpgrades for Air Canada giveaway

Deadline: Wednesday 5th of February 9:00 PM PST.

  15. @theskepticaltraveler Yep, I just checked on my wordpress subscriptions page and I’ve been subscribed since Feb 2. 🙂

  16. My flight is on the 19th. Already confirmed that there is upgrade space available. Had to wait on hold almost 2 hours, after not even being able to get through for several days running. There wasn’t even bad weather at the time. How can such a (comparatively) good airline have such a trainwreck for a call center?! 🙂
